I´ve there 2 times, and I recomend. I feel very confortable onn that Hotel. The location is very pleasant and good. The area is very nice.

It's conveniently located in the center of Tokyo where you can hop around using the subway system. Hotel is very decent and clean. There are convenience stores nearby. I will definately be a repeater for my next visit in Tokyo.

before moving to japan, i stayed in this hotel A LOT, the place is great and the prices r right for someone on a budget travel...the service is always spot on and they always r ready to help..the location is good and a walking distance from roppongi(10mins).....i must have stayed 6-7times there and always tell my friend to go there. the rooms r a bit small if u take a single room but above that and they r great!

I have stayed in many budget hotels in a number of countries. I have to say that my experience at the Asia Kaikan was probably the best one that I ever had.

Visited in September 2003, very hot n humid time! Lucky they had A/C. This excellent business hotel (well, only business hotel that I have stayed at), some sections are a bit older, but another wing is more modern has a most graceous and courteous staff! Rooms are extremely reasonable by Tokyo standards! It's a gem, since the rooms maybe a bit spartan, but at the same time, very functional. My room had a lunchbox style (Self-contained)bathroom, with western style Shower and japnanese style bathtub combo. This place is located in a very quiet area, so that it might be a bit hard to find at night if you are coming off the subway with your suitcases in tow!

I liked everything about this hotel. The rooms are small, but you can't beat the price. It is very clean, with helpful staff. In 2000, it looked more like a dormitory, but has been remodeled (and raised prices a bit) and now looks like a stylish hotel. The location is right in the middle of everything in Tokyo.
