Just west and south of the Loop, this hotel isn't in the nicest of locations. However, it is close to Union Station, making it very convenient if you are conducting business in the suburbs as well as the city. The hotel offers a full range of amenities, such as two-line phones, coffeemakers, modem connections, a fitness room and a diner in the hotel. Rates are moderate, but not as inexpensive as you might think, considering it's a Holiday Inn in a so-so location.
