Back to Strathcona Hotel I will return!! I stayed here during my trip to Ontario...I thought the hotel was very nice considering the age of it. The location is perfect could not ask for better. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only complaint that I have it the room was very small.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jan 24 2008 Back Again Second time we've been back here just can't beat location, you can go just about anywhere in minurtes by foot, this time drove in from airport which was easy, parking was close by. Rooms are small but I'm not there to sit in the room, it's clean and comfortable. My only negative comment is this trip the staff were not warm at all. Gave good service but were cold maybe just a bad week as last time they were very friendly. I will stay there again.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jan 05 2008 Excellent location Even though the rooms were small, they were comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is less than a block from Union Station (subways, trains, streetcars, and buses) and a very short walk from many of the main attractions such as Air Canada Centre.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Oct 22 2007 Excellent!! Great location, friendly and helpful staff, rooms a bit small, but I would definately go back. Best hotel I have stayed in in Tortonto. The Pub was a great place to meet people too.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 02 2007 Really enjoy staying here.... Whenever we travel into the city we usually stay here. After a night out or going to the game (who wants to drive back home???) so we get a room here. The rooms are small, but the price is excellent for th earea (We stayed for $145 CAN and the big hotel next door wanted $295 - WOW!!)

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on May 30 2005 Highly Recommended The Strathcona Hotel has to be one of Tornonto's best kept hotel secrets. With the look and feel of a more luxurious hotel in a much smaller package, this hotel is a fantastic value for the price.
