I had a grat experience at Novo Mundo, I was in Rio for business and was going to stay at Hotel Gloria (one just a few blocks from the other)but a friend told me to stay at Novo Mundo.It was great,specially the restautant with live piano.The hotel offers very good facilities and the suites are incredible with a big bath.

Think about getting back to the glorious 50´s,this is what you feel when you step inside Hotel Novo Mundo´s great hall.The marble,the furniture,the Flamboyant restaurant...The convention centerhave mineral names like Golden, silver, quartz since the hotel is owned by a family that also owns the Telequartz group of mining companies.Since it´s a family hotel and not a chain,the service is unique and you can enjoy the best of Rio!!

I really enjoyed Novo Mundo Hotel,it´s popular with the business crowd.The suites are spacious and cozy, i had the oportunity to visit the deluxe suites at the top floor, they are incredible!the hotel conbines the 50´s elegance with very modern facilities.I asked about the history of the hotel to some people since it´s a traditional hotel,they told me that it became popular because of it´s famous gests like Pelé(Brazil´s most famous soccer player)and president Lula!!
