We had a very early flight on 3/21/08 so I made advanced reservations for one night. When we arrived to check in man at the desk was not rude but not friendly either. I was given a room that was in the 7's, loaded all our bags onto the elevator and discovered it only went to 6. I then returned to the desk and was told that the room was on the 1st floor to follow the hallway. Our room ended up being at the very back of the hotel far away from the lobby.

Everything was good except no elevator to second floor for luggage. Other than that it is very good. I would recommend this hotel, Etc. etc. etc.

The room was not bad, the hotel right on the airport grounds, but the beds were totally unacceptable.............would not stay there again. There are many better places within a couple of miles of the airport.

I travel frequently to different cities, mostly in Florida, on business. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and the staff is consistently pleasant and helpful. I always order room service - the one time I had a problem they corrected it immediately. I also smoke and I cannot believe the number of hotels that treat a request for a smoking room as "optional." Consequently, I always insist that they tell me if a smoking room is, in fact, available. My experience is that the ONLY hotel that does not consider this to be unreasonable - or treat me with judgment - is the Clarion at Jacksonville. The nice people who work at this hotel more than make up for any lack of "updating" to the facilities. I will stay there again.

Even though we are smokers the room reaked. I have stayed in many hotels but this one really needs updating. I guess it was ok for one nights stay but it really needs updating. i would not stay there again though.

This Hotel is by far the best Hotel i ever stayed in... They had every accomadation for everything... I enjoyed the business center that was very convienent since we left the lab top... And i got to was the clothes ive used... so if u go to jax u got to room here.... Staff is wonderful!!!! Pool has no curfew!!!

This hotel was fine. They just did not do anything that would make it an exceptional stay.
