In 1750 John Ensor, an apprentice to Richard Castle who designed the White House in Washington DC, built this Georgian palace which was refurbished and opened as a hotel in 1907. The hotel is situated at the top of O'Connell Street, Dublin's principle thoroughfare and almost opposite the world-famous Gate theatre. All rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated with all standard modern facilities. The Hotel St George is the ideal place for excellent value city centre accommodation.
