third visit
This is a pleasant hotel. Clean and friendly. Elevators are small but still better than hauling cases upstairs by hand. The last day of our stay the room was not serviced but, the management deducted 25% from the days rate. Dinner is good value especially if it's raining outside. Service at breakfast was excellent. I thought the dinner waiter a little surly.

central and comfortable
Clean, central and not too expensive for a Bath hotel. I thought the organic breakfast was brilliant and recommend this hotel a the perfect bases to get around Bath on foot.

Very good hotel. Highly recommended
I stayed for a weekend in Oct in the Carfax and thoroughly enjoyed it. Good room, good breakfast, helpfull staff, easy parking, and you couldnt wish for a better location. My wife and I have already booked to go back during Bath's January sales!

Good location - great staff
Kerry, the hotel Receptionist urged me to write this review after I stayed for a weekend this June. I'd just like to say that the staff are really friendly and helpful, the hotel is very clean and well kept, the double bedroom we stayed in was cute, and the breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend the Carfax as a brilliant place to stay as it has a car park and is really in a perfect location in the city centre. There...I've fulfilled my part of the bargain - now I can go back!
