Unusually for Bath, the Bath Tasburgh is brick-built in a city that is predominantly constructed of Bath stone. However, this is still an attractive building and is situated far enough from the A36 to be convenient but not noisy. Although only a short distance from Bath city centre, its extensive gardens stretch down to the Kennet and Avon canal and there are glorious views of the countryside beyond. The real joy here is that if you walk down the gardens to the towpath, you can then follow the canal all the way into the city centre. All rooms are superbly appointed and include en-suite facilities. Some even have four-poster beds and family rooms are also available.
