Back to Hotel Piet Hein Think twice before you go there! Although it says it is located at the center, it is not. The best I could say is that it is at the edge of the center. You need around 20 minutes walk to the real "center". There is a nice park in front. But some rooms have simply no view, but a wall made of bricks, which makes them quite depressive. The rooms are small, beds are very soft, badly illuminated, and thus, depressive. Most of the stuff is arrogant and unfriendly. Highly priced for the quality. In general, it was a real disappointment for me.

Reviewed by: Marianne from on Jun 08 2005 Nothing exceptional Clean but very small rooms and bar. Service was okay but not outstanding. Cost was a bit high for the quality, but it's Amsterdam and there's nothing great but cheap there. Overall we'd do it again if we couldn't find anything else, but I'd look around for a better deal I think
