Wonderful!!!
We were planning to come to Nashville to see the group Celtic Thunder. I saw this hotel and it looked good so I booked a room. I got to looking at different horrible comments about the hotel on different sites later. Well NEVER rely on others peoples remarks. We went ahead and stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly happy!!! From chech-in to check-out we were treated by all of the staff with care and kindness. The hotel was clean and well cared for, room was great, food was delicious and location was great as well. I'm very happy we didn't go by other peoples comments. I'm sorry if they in fact had a bad time there because we really enjoyed our stay and plan to stay there again!

Never Stay HERE!
We booked our room mths in advance for a suite. Upon arival, the valet was horribly rude and the manager was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. we were told they had given our room away and only had a 2 bed room. Although I clearly had my confirmation in my hand, they treated me as the enemy. After arguing my point for several minutes...security was called and we were kicked out of the hotel (at 2am) and Still had to pay full price! If you enjoy being treated like trash then you should definitly stay here! Otherwise..GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Great Staff Service
We stayed at the Doubletree on our way to Georgia. We were looking for a nice place to eat away from the downtown district (Jonas Bros were in concert and it was very busy). He recommended a place near the airport that orginally was a mansion. Great food. The resturant provided valet service. Only complaint was our room had a musty damp smell.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
MYSELF AND A GROUP OF FRIENDS WENT TO NASHVILLE WE BOOKED 2 ROOMS A COUPLE OF WEEKS IN ADVANCE. WHEN WE ARRIVED WE WERE TOLD FROM THE VALET THAT WE COULD NOT PARK IN THE GARAGE, HE DID NOT GREET US ONLY SAID DO YOU WANT THE BAD NEWS NOW OR IN 30 SECONDS. WE ASKED TO SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER HE POINTED TO HIS NAME TAG AND SAID WAHT ELSE CAN I DO FOR YOU. THE MANAGER OF THE HOTEL CAME OUT AND ALSO WAS RUDE AND THREATENED TO CANCEL OUR RESERVATIONS. UPON CHECK OUT WE WERE LOADING OUR LUGGAGE OUT IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL WHEN ONE OF THE VALETS CAME OVER AND SHUT THE DOORS ON THE VAN AND MADE US LOAD OR LUGGAGE ON THE STREET. WE PAID APPROXIMATELY $160.00 TO GET TREATED THIS WAY. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!!!

Awesome 3 days.
The staff at check in/check out, valet, security, housekeeping merit 5 stars. No complaints. They were all smiling and very eager to help with everything. Hotel was super clean, that gets 5 stars, Very comfortable beds, 5 stars. The only 2 things we noticed that were not as good as everything else, more lighting or brighter lighting in the room and a vent/fan in the bathroom so the mirror did not fog up with shower running. The convenience of location to where we needed to be was wonderful, even with it being cold outside, we were able to walk everywhere whe wanted/needed to go and didn't have to drive. Great!

The best stay in nashville
We had our trip to nashville planned and unfortunately we had chose another hotel downtown because of a cheaper price. Well you get what you pay for. We were VERY unhappy there so we called the doubletree and made a reservation for that night. From the very moment we walked onto the property we were treated with wonderful respect and hospitality. We used their valet parking which was wonderful. We had ease with checkin and a wonderful bellman that helped us to our room with our bags. The room was beautiful and very clean. We had a wonderful view. The amenities of this hotel was great. Very modern materials. We had a large flat screen television. Marble bathroom. The bed was very clean, and slept great. Most hotel beds are not comfortable but I definately must brag on this one. We ordered breakfast by room service and it was to die for. I could not have been happier. We were just a few blocks from everything.

Good Service and Free Shuttle!
My husband and I had a Wonderful experience at the downtown Nashville Doubletree this past weekend—both thanks to a superb, beyond-the-call-of-duty service staff and very comfortable accommodations. Be sure to take advantage of the free shuttle service—it will save you walking the 4th Ave hill in your heels!

Not what they promised
After being charged a huge amount to stay in the Governors suite; immediately after check-in the front desk associate called me and told me that i should have never payed that much for the suite. She further explained they never charge anyone that much.

Needs help
This used to be a decent place to stay, but lately it has really gone down. Most of the staff is helpful, but there were a few very rude ones who offered no assistance. The valet workers were very nice and helpful which was good considering this place charges around $25 plus tips a day to park. Breakfast was less than desireable and way overpriced considering most of it was horrible. The rooms are nice and the location is pretty convenient to most things downtown. I've stayed here several times over the last few years and it's a shame that it's being neglected. With the quality continuing to decline and the price continuing to rise (usually over $200 a night plus parking) it won't be my hotel of choice from now on.

Horrible Customer Service
The reservation system for this hotel is quite possibly the worst I have ever encountered. Perhaps it is the entire Hilton system, but the manager at this particular location was absolutely no help and basically supported the amazing incompetence of the reservation agents that were involved.
