Made my experience in NYC slaughter!
The hotel was still under construction and I couldn't believe how small the room was. It felt congested! The hallway to the room looked creepy and dark. I would not recommend this hotel. The only great thing about this hotel is the location.

Never again
Besides the location everything else about this hotel is awful. the lobby is pretty but when you go on the elevator you might want to bring a flashlight because it is very dark in there with only a small neon colored light in the corner. the hallways are very humid and the whole place has a weird smell to it. The rooms are very small and we had to call the maintenance man at 2 AM because we woke up in a 80 degree room. the air conditioner did not work and he gave us a small fan to use, which did not help at all. the front desk workers did not care at all about our awful stay and were very snobby. i would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. worst hotel i have stayed in.

Very Modern and cute
I read the previous reviews, i guess all were there during the renovation of the hotel... I just came from NYC i was staying in paramount. It was the most comfortable place. I had a room with a single king size bed. The rooms aren't big, but what do you expect from nyc? It is great for couples!!! bathrooms are very clean, the renovation of this hotel is great. the lobby, hallways, rooms, all clean. Air conditioner worked perfectly it was nice and cool during the night. The location is more than perfect! a block away from Time Square.

Hotel of last resort for the Times Square area.
Not the best place to stay in New York by a long shot.

A $30 motel would have been nicer
Don't be decieved by the pretty pictures of the lobby on the website--this place is a dump! The lobby is the only nice thing about this hotel. After you ride the neon-lit elevator to your floor, you'll notice the hallways are dark and dirty. When we got into our room, it was the size of a closet. It was actually SMALLER than my room in college. The queen sized bed took up the entire room, leaving no space to even walk. Lucky we only had one suitcase, because if there was one more, we would have had to leave it outside or in the bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable and consisted of a mattress on the floor. Thats it. While I was sitting at the table, my boyfriend had to crawl across the bed to get to the bathroom because there was no walking space in the room. The paint was falling off the walls--the room looked like it hadn't been painted for 50 years. There was mildew in the bathroom. The heat was broken.. our room stayed at a consistant 80 degrees during our entire stay..even after complaining and having someone come up to look at it.

Are you kidding me?
All I have to say is daaaaaaaaaaaaamn. My room at school was bigger than the room at the Paramount. The lobby was probably the best thing going for the hotel. If you are trying to have a hotel party of some sort, definitely dont stay here. You could probably fit 4-5 people in this room. The longest time someone should stay in this hotel is for an overnight stay and you only plan to only drop your bags off. And if you have more than 1 suitcase, you def will have to put it in the bathroom because you will be sleeping right on top of it. The heat was pumping at like 80 degrees. For the same price, we couldve stayed at the Millenium Hotel which was right across the street (which is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better). All I have to say is that if you want to sleep in a closet or just want a place to put your bags, stay here.

Total Ripoff
The only thing going for this hotel is the location; it is right next door to Times Square. That being said is not worth it to stay here even if they were charging 1/3 the rates they do. This place is in perpetual renovation, and the hallways and rooms are complete dumps. Do not stay here. Simple as that. There are many alternatives in Manhattan and near Times Square. The rooms are old and run-down with exposed wires, cracking paint, and no comfort. The beds are basically mattresses on the floor. The furniture is sparse and look out of place. The walls and ceiling are painted prison grey This is not a hotel, it's a train wreck. Please don't get trapped into staying here, you will regret it.

Absolutely Appauling
This place is small, dirty and scary! Electrical outlets shorting out every 30 seconds, TV not working, shower shoes required!! Not good value as this hotel is very expensive! To say we were disappointed is the understatement of the year!

What a dump!
I have stayed in Times Square 2 times previously, at the Hilton on 42nd St and at The Muse. Both were far superior to this place. The lobby is very modern and well-appointed, but as soon as you head upstairs on the elevator, the nightmare begins.

Worst start to a holiday than you could imagine
Stayed in room 1629. Blinds extremely dusty and dirty, carpet very dirty, bathtub stained, mildew on shower tiles and grout. Mildew on window frames and sills. Bed-Mattress lumpy and exceptionally uncomfortable-only inches from dirty floor. Towels had to be requested twice during 4 night stay. Expected room to be small, but should at least have been clean. Did not want to walk on floors. Requested alternate room within minutes of checkin-None available. When complaints of shabby housekeeping made, we wer told "Thats the way it is". From the lobby to the hallways, everything is dark, believe they are trying to hide the condition of the hotel. We reccommend that you stay away from this place, never been so disappointed in our accomodations.
