Back to Millennium Hilton Awesome! I will stay again! I give this hotel 5 stars! The staff was pleasant, the checkin & checkout were incredibly fast! The lobby was beautiful & the room was awesome! I had a king size bed with the wonderful view of the city. I would advise anyone looking for a hotel in downtown manhattan to go to Millenium Hilton. The breakfast was excellent but a bit expensive. I have no complaints! Thumbs up!
Reviewed by: EileenR from on Sep 16 2009 racial profiling, careful We stayed here for two nights in early July. The hotel was clean, the room was nice. We requested a room with a view and got one on the 31st floor. The hotel staff actually gave us a room early before the check-in time which was also very nice.
Reviewed by: Shaheen from on Jul 23 2009 Thrilling Stay With My Lovely Wife I recently reserved a room at the Millenium for a romantic stay with my wife. This was the second week we decided to stay in Manhattan. We were both thrilled with our stay. The room was elegant, modern, and comfortable. Although we slept little, the bed was quite comfortable. We found the view tantilizing -- a wonderful backdrop to our candle lit surroundings. The plasma television was great as an alternative to our intense love making. When we did leave the room we were just a short ride to one of our favorite Greenwich Village restaurants. If you want to have a wonderful time, reserve a room, get the right candle, buy some ginger body rub, sensous body oil, and a bottle of champagne and do what comes naturally.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 07 2007 Don't check your luggage! I left my luggage with the Conceigre and when I went to claim it, the Conceigre was closed so the bell guy gave me my luggage and cut my tags with a knife instead of a pair of scissors. He sliced my luggage with this knife and I never noticed till I got home due to the location of the slice. I reported it to the hotel manager, Miguel who then sent me to Security (Alberto Lozada) who then stated they viewed the video and that I was lying. I saw the utility knife myself, we had 6 pieces of luggage and only one was sliced. I was also told I cannot get a copy of the video. I have now turned this over to an attorney due to the value of the luggage. I would highly suggest to anyone not to stay here and check luggage.
Reviewed by: Disgruntled Customer from on Aug 29 2007 Wonderful staff The service I received by all the staff I encountered (doormen, bellhops, maids, front desk) was more like a small boutique hotel - very personal and very friendly. They seemed to truly appreciate the business. It was sort of eerie and disturbing to be so close to Ground Zero, but it felt right to be supporting this hotel and the other businesses in the area. Also, the rooms well-decorated and furnished. The only thing I didn't like was the walls are a bit thin - I could hear the rambunctious kids down the hall... but I would definitely stay here again.
Reviewed by: KMJ from on Aug 14 2007 I can't wait to go back I loved everything about this hotel. The service was excellent. And it is such a beatiful hotel! The restaurant is really nice, the breaskfast is incredible. I probably don't like very much this gift shop which is in the lobby.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Dec 26 2006 Honeymooners Beware My wife and I just left The Millennium Hotel in NYC from our brief Honeymoon and I must say how dissatisfied we were with the service we received at the "Exclusive 4-Star" hotel. Upon our arrival I made arrangements with the gentlemen at the front desk to have a car pick my wife and I up from our Wedding Night Dinner Cruise. This was after upon check-in that the bellhop failed to make the arrangements for us as promised. Time and location were supplied to Arturo and I was assured that there would be a car waiting for us when we docked. When we arrived there was no car. In fact I had to walk approx. 6 blocks in the cold rain to hail a cab back to the hotel, exactly what I wanted to avoid by arranging a car with your hotel. After arriving back to our room we found that there was no heat. Because we were both exhausted and wanting to go to sleep we did not want to make an issue of it because we did not want to change rooms at that time. I believe that our mistakes were having such high expectations from such a prestigious company. That mistake will never be made again, for we will no longer stay at a Hilton affiliated hotel again. I'm afraid that if the disappointing service we experienced at the 4-Star rated Millennium Hilton is the norm I wonder how it is in other not so exclusive facilities under the Hilton Umbrella.
