We did not know what to expect when we got their, but it exceeded expectations of any other place we had stayed on other islands. We brought our 2 granddaughters and the Beach was "awesome" the pool was great! Staff was outstanding. We had a garden room that opened out to the center of the complex. It was a quick walk to the beach. We had the complex with the king bed and the couch pulled out to a Queen bed and the loveseat to a twin. Easy access to the internet and the kitchenette was completely supplied with all we needed to cook our meals, all we had to do was supply the food. There is a grocery store just a couple of miles away. If you don't want to cook, there is a Gazebo at the lower pool that sells breakfast and lunch as well as a full service restaurant for lunch and dinner. I will definitley use this facility on a return trip!

My wife and I loved this place. We had a bottom floor room with a view of the ocean, it was beautiful and very convenient. My wife was a beginning snorkeler, and loved seeing the coral and fish. I scuba dive and have snorkeled many places, I thought it was a great spot. And uncrowded. The beach was decent too, but no waves. There was a breakfast restaurant on property, The Gazebo, it was great. Good banana pancakes. Long line, but worth the 20 minute wait. Overall, a very clean and comfortable room in a great location.

This is not a place to go if you happen to be a smoker. We just spent 20 days and were disappointed at the reception that the condo owners gave us. In January of 2007 the condo owners adopted a non smoking policy for the entire property. Before booking we inquired about the policy and were informed that there is no smoking in the rooms (this is fair and we understand) We were told that smoking was allowed 20 feet away from the buildings. Folks this is not the case. Several of the condo owners were rude and asked us to leave the property. The rudeness even extended to not answering and turning thier backs to a Hello. Condo Owners if you change a policy after someone has booked please be curtious to the people that do not know of the change. The Outrigger Management Staff acted and treated our concerns in a professional and curtious manner and we Thank them .

The location, atmosphere, price all make this a great place for a vacation! We were originally in a garden view room, but when they decided to clean the koi pond I asked to be moved. They moved me to an oceanview, ground floor room which was perfect!

If it wasn't for the fact that Napili is so far away from most Maui attractions (try making an 8pm reservation at Mama's from Napili at 6:45pm -- aue, it's just not going to happen), Napili Shores is not bad for the price. There's maid service to clean your room, close to Kapalua & Honolua Beaches and Lahaina. Rooms on the overall, are cleanly kept. Friendly staff makes up for the condo's misgivings: age of the bldg, fixtures, furnishings.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and 5 years later for our anniversary. We love the location, the view, and the pancakes at the Gazebo restaurant! The rooms are clean and the grounds are kept in meticulous condition. The view is great and there is good snorkeling right next door. I would highly recommend Napili Shores to anyone!

After visiting the Napili Shore in 1989, we were pleased to return this year (2005) and find that th Outrigger still has the quiet family oriented kind of place that we enjoy. The cooking grills that are available to guests are very accessible, always clean and provide the best way to enjoy local grilled fish. Snorkleing in Napili Bay is just awesome.

Loved this place. Two beautiful pools, very quiet, next to a really nice bay. Liked the Gazabo restaurant. Pretty grounds.We can only stay for 1 1/2 days this year--but I can't wait to go back. Staff is helpful and pleasant.

We spent 7 days in this luxurious Hawaiian resort. The property is extremely clean and well maintained. The staff are so helpful and welcoming. The Gazebo restaurant is beautiful, overlooking Napili Bay....it is a must and has great plate lunches. It is a win, win situation.

My husband and I spent 7 days at Napili Shores this summer {03} This place just feels like home away from home. Even the studio that we stayed in had a full kitchen complete with everything you would have at home, except food of course. This made it very easy to buy our groceries when we arrived and make all our meals, saving a lot of money. The grounds were beautiful, they have outdoor BBQ`s for all to use, each unit also has its own lani, {patio} with table and chairs. The beach is just a stones throw away. No one bothered us, the staff were all very nice, they were available if needed and if not they left you alone. We are already planning our trip for next summer and can`t wat to get back, I know it will feel just like home when we arrive.
