Nasty
Checked in and had someone elses dirty socks under my bed. The drinking glasses in the room were visibly dirty. The valet lost my car keys. I can not find anything good to say about my stay.

Service was terrible!
We had booked two rooms weeks in advance and when we arrived at the hotel at 10:00 P.M. one of our rooms was still not ready. We finally got our room keys at 11:30 and the staff was very rude to us about the matter. We also where treated very rudely by the security in the hotel while waiting in the lobby for our room. I was very disappoint in the way this Marriott treated us all around and would never stay at this hotel again.

Would not consider staying anywhere else...
This hotel is amazing! Courtyards are typically the "economy" hotel by Marriott and do not generally have much in the way of amenities. This particular hotel had been renovated for the Super Bowl last year and believe me, they have it ALL. Great staff, great rooms, great restaurant (Sweet Lorraines, todieforsweetsandbuffetandmeals). The valet is worth every penny as access to the People Mover is inside the hotel. My only disappointment was that they could not tell me much about the mattresses. This was my first hotel ever in Detroit, and I wouldn't consider doing business anywhere else. I highly recommend checking their website for special packages.

Feeling hot hot hot....
This is a nice clean hotel with friendly service. The only complaint i have is that they need to turn up the air conditioning. One should not be sweating while enjoying a drink at the lovely bar and cafe.
