This place is simple yet elegant and such a relaxing place. WE go there 3 time a year and have had an incredible experience every time. It's very romantic :)

Do not stay here! The pool was FILTHY. The grounds have not been kept up. The tiny jacuzzi is a cracked mess. Dead plants everywhere. UGLY furnishings in the dark depressing rooms. I stayed here 7 years ago and it was lovely; now it is awful. Even the food was bad. Europa is NO five star restaurant. We went to Palm Springs to go swimming, but could not go in the filthy pool. We ended up going to see a movie--just to get away, and we left early on checkout day.

a wonderful place to relax and unwind...quiet,simple and yet so elegant... lush foilage,large pots of cascading white petunias filling the morning air with sweetness, trickling fountains...at sunset twinkling lights give off a golden glow,reflecting in the pool and as a warm desert breeze blows the fragrance of jasmine fills the air...the rooms are inviting, an eclectic mix of tuscan and oriental furnishing with a 1940s flair...every one was friendly and helpful, service was perfect.

I stayed there a few years ago (2000, maybe?) absolutely LOVED the overall ambiance, but our particular room was very dark and dingy. The food at the restuarant was some of the best I've ever had - and I have traveled all over the world!
