Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 21 2008 Loving the Privacy of Boracay It offers the best side of Boracay when it comes to privacy and exclusivity. I was able to enjoy the company of my family without the wild rush of all the tourists. There's also this maginificent view from the top where you van view the beachfront and the whole resort.
Reviewed by: Joe from on May 16 2008 My Family Enjoyed it.... My family and siblings enjoyed our ride going to the resort because of the boat called bangka. Its their first time to experience this kind of ride. When we arrived at the resort we are immediately offered drinks by the staff, our main choice is to stay at the deluxe but when we saw the cottages we ask them to transfer us.... the silence and the exclusivity of the resort made us feel comfortable and safe. My children enjoyed their games at the beachfront with the staff who are very friendly. The only problem that we encountered was when we asked for a free shuttle going out to the public beach, they are asking for an extra charge of US$8.00 because according to them they have a scheduled free shuttle service and our request is out of the schedule....I hope that the management will have an open time free shuttle because this is a very important thing especially for a first timer ...
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Dec 22 2007 Bad experience My wife and I stayed at The Panoly resort back in Dec 06 and found it to be very disappointing. The resort itself was so far away from the main beach and the only way you can get there is via a shuttle bus which the resort operates twice a day.(10am to the beach and 5pm back to the hotel) I had to pay $500 for a 15 minutes ride back to our hotel purely because the shuttle is no longer available(after10pm).
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 29 2007 Poor information I just got back from the Panoly March 2006 and was very disapointed in the management of the property. The one reason that I stayed at the Panoly was that it advertised and onsite Scuba dive shop I called and spoke with various staff to find out all information about this so that I would not have any problems when I got there. I was told that the dive shop was there and that they had all the equipment needed for diving, even the prices. When I arrived I asked where the shop was and they sent me out on the beach to it. When I got there there was not a shop at all. They didnt even know that the shop was not there any more. If I had known this I never would have stayed there. This hotel is a half hour ride to town were you have to go to get on a dive boat. When I talked to the manager about this he was not willing to even give me and upgrade on a room. Even though this was such poor information. It took them 3 days to decide that they could give me a free dinner for all the inconvienence. If you plan on just staying in one place this place is ok.
