Back to Best Western Exhibition Park “Large suites -- Hidden fees.” We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into a hotel room that had two queen-sized beds – each in a separate bedroom and each with its own television. Even though we didn’t take advantage of it, the kitchenette was also big and would allow anyone to create a great family meal. But there were a few drawbacks to this hotel. When we made the reservation for four, we were not told that there would be an extra fee for our adult son. Evidently, the price I was quoted over the phone for a one-night stay covered two adults only (me and my husband) because when we arrived, we were told that the hotel’s policy is that an extra $20 is charged for each, additional adult. Also, although there is a covered carport, the stalls are very narrow and hard to maneuver – especially if you’re driving a van. Finally, even though the clerk was very friendly, he did not offer us any assistance or follow-up on our complaint that the toilet’s flushing capacity was extremely low. Is there a plumber in the house?

Talked to manager in the morning he was going to refund 50% of the room. He did not do this until I returned to Vancouver 4 months later and confronted him at the front desk. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 12 2007 It is a good place to stay We stay 3 nights and the front desk service is great and helpful. The location is a little off downtown but price is more reasonable. ^_^
