Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on May 04 2009 Terrible experience Stayed at this hotel 3 nights and what a nightmare. Took forever to get checked in, desk clerk kept telling us it would be an hour then it was a hour and half. Can't believe a hotel like the Marriott still has double beds instead of queen beds. During the night we would freeze then get very hot - comforter was very heavy and hot. Did you ever try to carry several pieces of luggage up many flights of stairs, let me tell you it is not fun. Wouldn't take the service elevator , when the elevators quit working, as too many were getting stuck in it for long periods of time. Need more bell hops - it took forever to get our vehicle. If we hadn't been on a time schedule it wouldn't of been so bad having to wait 15-20 minutes or more to get vehicle.
Reviewed by: Jane R from on Apr 08 2009 Worst Hotel Experience Ever I stayed here for a 4 day long conference and I have never had a worse experience ever at a hotel. The wireless internet was $13.95 PER DAY, the staff was incredibly rude every time I spoke with them, and when the elevators stopped working, I rode the service elevator only to get stuck in it for 20 minutes while no one came to help us. The phone in the elevator was not working and the hotel staffer in there with us could not get a signal from his cell phone (none of us could) so he resorted banging on the door and ringing the bell. Later that evening when the elevators were still not working and we heard the bell ringing in the elevator shaft, the staff at the hotel still would not help the people inside. Additionally, we got no apology from the hotel and received no compensation.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 05 2009 Will never stay here again First of all I had booked room for my best friends bridal shower. I called the hotel 5 times just to make sure that the sitter for the kids could check in with no problems they said yes. I work in a hotel too so I do understand policies. The babysitter arrived at 10:30 pm (with 1,6,8, and 9 year olds) and when we arrived at 11:00 pm they where waiting outside. He informed me that the girl at the front desk, whose name was Kelly (from texas, i think) wouldn't let them check in although his name was on the reservation!! When I asked her what the problem was she gave a lot of attitude! After 20 minutes of her arguing she gave me the keys to the rooms. I then asked her how to find our rooms and she pointed behind me and said 'the elevator are over there!' and turned around. Thank goodness the guy who checked us out in the morning was a plesant guy from Vail. Thanks to him for making us feel better about our stay.. However, I will not stay here again

Reviewed by: Robert from on Aug 04 2007 Poorest Accounting System I've ever seen I was part of a large group that stayed several days at this hotel. I shared a room with another of our group and we split the bill. He arrived a day earlier that I did, but I stayed one day later than he did. We had 2 days of split costs. The original reservation was made with his credit card. When I checked in I was asked for a credit card to imprint. I gave them my debit card because this was the card I intended to charge my half of the room to. The next day my debit card was "locked out" of $900 of available funds - 3 times what the room charge was going to be. My room mate was also charged a $900 holding. I immediately went to the front desk and after several itterations of the same story, I changed cards so that the $900 could be released back into my debit account. In checking out my other card was charged for half of the room rate. A week later, my original card was also charged for the room. I'm STILL, a full TWO WEEKS after the fact, trying to get this straightend out with them. It's safe to say that I will never stay here again.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jul 16 2007 Perfect place to stay in Denver It was at an extremely convenient location downtown, and we could look out the huge window and see the whole area. Were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, service was great, staff was VERY friendly, and there is an outdoor shopping center a few blocks down. We walked everywhere (and we are not big walkers!) and only used a cab once to go across town for a concert.
Reviewed by: cakes from on Jul 15 2007 Awesome Place to stay!!! The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.
