Let me start off by saying, AWFUL! The staff is beyond rude, the food is so terrible I wouldn't let my dog eat it. When we booked our reservations the room described on the web site is a blatant LIE! Our room was filthy and the atmosphere was like being in a wet sock.The bedding was literally wet and there were stains on the walls! They are constructing a new part of the hotel which was a mere 20 feet from our balcony which would start a 7 a.m and finish at 11 p.m. Constant hammering and sawing from the crack of dawn until late into the nite. We complained to the desk for 2 days with no results. The management was completley uncaring to our complaints. You would be better off vacationing in afghanistan. I cannot emphasize any more about the quality of the food,each restaurant was worse than the next. I have been told that the hotel has recently been purchased by new owners and let me just say that they couldn't run a lemonade stand! Save your time and money and under no circumstances should you consider staying here. Plenty of others to choose from.

Very bad management. They should close this place down and start from scratch. Be warned. All the reviews are absolutely true. They over book and put you in lousey room. After spending 2 hours checking in they put us in a room with no working a/c and lots of mosquitos. I spent the next 3 hours killing mosquitos with my 1 year old daughter in the room. After 4 hours, I finally got a room with working a/c. However, I was still killing mosquitos. Never again will I set foot in this hotel. Don't waste your money. It's not worth it.

I must say, I watched the Casino employees take advantage of intoxicated patrons. Thousands of dollars went into casino hands.

Based on the previous trips to that resort the only thing still acceptable is the beach.

Reserved to stay ONE night with my husband and 14 month old baby. Well, they overbooked and didn't have a room for us. They sent us to a place that was supposed to be as nice. NOT! It was absolutely horrible, not to mention the way we were treated by the front desk at the Hamaca. NEVER AGAIN

I was there for two nights this past X-Mas holiday with friends from Miami and I really can say that I enjoy my stay there a lot. I'm Dominican but I have been to different hotels in the island and by far this one for the price and location is great. Food is very good, tasteful, the different variety of internation cuicine is for everyone; the night club you can even go in bathing suit and beach sandals if you wish. The staffs are there just to make your stay more pleasant and forget everything but where you are. I tried must of the drinks by the pool just learn of new one I didn't even know (Lol) but of course I couldn't finish them all. Rooms are quite neat and clean, massages by professional after a day at the beach or the pool is a must! I trully recommend them at least half an hour. "You would come out of there like if you are flying in heaven" Magical hands those ladies. I also tried the ones by the beach at a cheaper prize and by a secluded chair but there is no comparison at all. Can hardly wait to go back in the summer again and stay here once more. Thankx Oasis Hamaca for a great stay!!!

After a long flight my husband and I show up to find out they DIDN'T have a room for us (even thought we booked it months in advance) and sent us to a two star resort "five minutes down the street". Commuting from resort to resort was time consuming and put a damper on the whole vacation experience. I would NOT go back EVER!

The beaches and the water is majestic. The 7 different restaurants cater to what your taste is for the day. And the night life is great, Casinos, live shows, and a disco keeps you busy. If that is not your style then the many pools, jacousies and beach will keep you speachless. Hamaca Coral. Big bang for the buck.
