It was my worst experience
This was a nightmare, first we requested a harbor view and we were assured not once, but twice that we will get a harbor view….but when we got to the Hotel they said; “Yes you requested it but we didn’t guarantee it for you”…and they gave me a room facing construction.

Great Location
We had picked Renaissance Harborplace Hotel, based on location to the harbor and the ballpark, we could walk to both with a stroller. Lots of smiling faces and children during our visit. The shopping inside was a nice touch, We were able to self park and go in and out as many times as we wanted with the car. This was a top nothch hotel. From the hotel you can reach the water taxi, at $9.00 to ride all day it is a must. We will return soon.

Does the good outway the bad?
We recently visited the Inner Harbor and stayed at this hotel. We opted for the Aquarium package which included breakfast, valet parking and tickets at the aquarium. A great deal! The buffet breakfast is fantastic! The room was clean, the beds and pillows extremely comfortable and the lotions/ soaps in the bathroom first class. Be warned though, bring your own toilet paper! Cheap 1-ply sandpaper rough toilet paper doesn't cut it with a 4 star hotel. The other complaint is the hallways. No matter what time of day, you will notice trays from guests ordering room service outside their rooms. I complained at least 7 times in 2 days that the hallway was a disgrace. Morning room service trays were left outside rooms from approx. 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. both days. The maids that clean the rooms seem to ignore these items as they are not in the individual rooms. A hotel of this caliber should not need lessons on how to clean the hallways, its' a bad reflection on how clean the room is! I did speak to a front end manager and a room service manager. They both agreed with my observations, were apologetic, and said they need to work harder on this matter. Time will tell.

A Time To Remember
We went to Baltimore for my step-daughter's birthday. The hotel staff could not have been more accommodating. In fact, we came in one night to find a table with a chocolate birthday cake, silverware, plates and a teddy bear with a lovely note from the hotel staff. The presentation itself was beautiful but the effort and thoughtfulness behind it is what will bring our family back to this hotel anytime I stay in Baltimore. This is the best hotel I've stayed in because of the personalization alone and that's comparing to Ritz Carlton's, Bellagio, Swan & Dolphin .... and many other luxury hotels. The money is worth it and I'm a true believer of getting what you pay for.

Perfect for Vacationing
My son and I stayed there last week and loved it!! He's only 8 but was very impressed. The staff was great, the beds super, and the closeness to all the harbor and downtown activities cannot be beat.

Great location, just dont dine there
I enjoyed my stay for the most part but was very dissapointed in the dinning arrangement. The room was luxurious. It was a great location with excellent ammenities, with one exception..... the restaurant situation. They are apparently remodelling their restaurant & are only offering a buffet which is served in their ballroom. The servers were very unprofessional in the morning & could openly be heard complaining about how bad their food & beverage director was. I will definitely stay in the hotel again, but strongly advise against dining in thier restaurant.

Dream Beds will keep us coming back!!
We have stayed at this hotel twice now and recommended it to our friends coming into town. The beds are like sleeping on a huge cloud and the rooms are spacious and clean. the staff has always been courteous and helpful. Although the price is a bit steep,we believe you get what you pay for..and in this case,it certainly rings true!!

Great location, but only a so-so hotel
Great location, but only a so-so hotel. Checked in and got worst room in the house, inside view on the 7th floor courtyard. Toilet broke several times during the night. Lobby bar was closed during the weekend??? Windows restaurant had nice views, but it wasn't very good.
