Back to Beirut Hotel Don't stay here! First of all, this hotel is in a bad part of town. There were a lot of vagrants hanging around front entrance who probably wanted to rob us. The hotel is old and has 60's decor, and I don't think it has been cleaned since then. The door to our room wouldn't close properly, and we had to kick it several times as hard as we could to get it closed. The sheets on the bed were stained. The bathroom was in need of repair, with the sink and bathtub were chipped, with rust and corrosion around the fixtures. Oh yeah, there was a disco in this hotel below our room playing obscenely loud music all night long. Worst hotel I've ever been to, and probably one of the worst on the African continent. If we weren't bumped from our flight at 1am, we would have looked for something else.

All staff is very nice and familiar. Only restaurant, you should be careful. They are not familiar and like a ice (if you are single man) You can connect internet from bussiness room and they do not disturb you. Furnitures are old and you can see some insects in the room. TV is not working good, so you need something else to spend your time. There is Ms. Marry at the reservation. You must meet her and ask her what you need in Cairo. She has very smily face and she try to do her best to help you.
