Good hotel but they nickel and dime you
This hotel nickel and dimes you to oblivion. $10 to use the gym? C'mon guys...how can you call yourself a 4-star hotel by charging for a gym that isn't all that great? Internet is $15 as well. On the plus side, the bed is comfortable and the location is good.

Location was fantastic and accommodations were adequate. I would not go back because of service and incompetency of staff. I had a company who was paying for the accommodations. They verified receipt of payment three times because the front desk kept telling me it was not received. After I returned home I got a charge on my credit card! They had managed to still mess it up after verification of payment. They would not fix the problem so I had to contact my credit card and the company myself. I am not returning and suggest paying cash and not giving them your credit card if you plan on staying at this hotel.

A great stay
Imperial Club floor room at an excellent price. Clean, comfortable, and the breakfast buffet (included in room cost for club floor) was very tasty (I am a eggs and sausage guy). Really liked the convenient location to Union Square and public transportation. Stayed 6 nights, 3 @$219, 2@259, and 1 at $206. The meeting I attended was at the Hotel Nikko and the meeting room was without problems, and the food service was high quality. I rented a vehicle for 2 nights - selected Enterprise at Fishermans Wharf as they had trucks for $10.99 with unlimited mileage (none available at Enterprise located at the Hotel Nikko); plus, I could park overnight at the Enterprise lot for only 9 dollars - just took the cable car to and from the rental lot. I will definitely stay at the Hotel Nikko again as long as I can get a favorable rate for a Club Floor room.

Complete waste of money. The room was smaller than the one I originally booked, but they said there were no other rooms available. You pay for everything in a hotel that is already overpriced. The decor was dated. I won't go back

Beautiful Hotel, but not sure I would stay again
The hotel is a beautiful and located in Union Square, only blocks from shopping and public transportation. I'm not sure about the service because other than sleeping there, I didn't do much else there as the prices were extremely high. The rooms are reasonably sized, with lush beds and a flat screen TVs. Very clean and modern design. What I didn't like was that they nickel and dimed you for every thing. I was billed $7.60 for using their computer in the business center for 2 minutes. There was a fee to use the gym, a fee to us services in business center, a fee to use wireless internet. Nothing was included in the room. Nice, but not a good value.

Would definitely return
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel location is one block from cable cars and four blocks from Westfield Shopping Mall. The rooms were very clean and maintenance responded quickly when we had an issue with the toilet. We stayed on the 23rd floor views were to die for! The size of the room was good. The bathroom was incredible. The TV behind the bathroom mirrors was really interesting. For those who cannot who need to watch tv while in the bathroom this is the place. We booked the Imperial Club room which gave us complimentary internet access, wine and cheese from 5PM to 7PM and use of the pool and fitness center, Pool and Fitness center were clean. Had the breakfast at Anzu with the vouchers. Food was good. The service at Anzu was efficient.Overall, we an outstanding experience at this hotel.

Terrible experience with Nikko hotel
It was not easy to cancel booking. I called to cancel books, but they still chraged us two full days. A reason was we were late ten minutes in calling to cancel. They explained us very kindly that I can only cancel the first day. But they charged after then.
