You get what you pay for? Not here!
We had a dreadful experience at the Doubletree Hotel Albuquerque in April 2009. When I reported the problem to Hilton Honors, I was promised a written letter of apology. After a week and a half, I'm still waiting...... I won't hold my breath.

Ok if you are here for business.
Overall this hotel was pretty nice. The room was nice and clean we were on the seventh floor. Bed was very soft, if you like soft pillow top beds, this is the place to sleep. Don't drink the coffee in your room. You will be better off going down stairs and buying a 4 dollar coffee. We had a room by the elevator and we couldn't hear it. We had dinner and drinks at the bar to watch the football game. Food and drinks were pricy but OK. Note*** if you are NOT sitting up at the bar the T.V. quality sucks. Hotel is in a good location, three blocks down there are lots of places to eat and have drinks. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if needed for business.

Very Nice Hotel In A Good Location
Don't know if there is a better hotel in ABQ -- the people were incredibly nice and helpful (and I mean EVERYBODY)..the room was spotless and the restaurant was fine for something quick. OK Wifi. The location connected to the Convention Center was great and you are three blocks from Central Avenue/Route 66 where there are some fun restaurants and lots of neon. But, this hotel has the worst elevator arrangements I have ever seen. Take my advice, stay on the 1st or 2nd floors and take the stairs.

Uncomfortable!
The location was good. I had a meeting at the Albuquerque convention center next door so that was good. They greeted me with a warm cookie. That was good! The thing is the bedding was terrible! The pillows were all flat. the bed has a thin, cheap blanket with cigarette burns in it, I could feel the springs in the mattress and the heating was based on a heating/cooling unit in the room. So if you use it, it is extremely noisy and the room becomes very hot and dry, dry , dry!
