Back to Hyatt Regency Tokyo My first choice in Shinjuku I've stayed in this hotel many times while traveling to Japan and later housed business associates here when I was living in Tokyo for two years. I was never disappointed.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 06 2008 Spectacular Lodging for First Timer This my mine and my wife's first time in Tokyo and I don't think we could have been happier with our choice in hotels. The Century Hyatt is in a nice, quiet part of this bustling city and only a 10 minute walk from the action of Kabuki-cho (if that's your thing). Shinjuku station is also only a few minutes walk, but like another reviewer said, Tochomae station is actually at the base of the hotel.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Feb 28 2008 Very Disappointed Stayed at Hyatt Regency at Kyoto for 3 nights which was great and was expecting the same at Century Hyatt but were first of all met by a rude guy at check in - asked for an upgrade, was told your room is already nice -which wasnt - aircon didnt work well, musty smell in the rooms and corridor, old furniture, old tv, rollaway bed squicked. Paid 38,000 yen for this room. Wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone - not worth the price you pay. Would recommend Hilton next door - better service, great rooms, great breakfast etc.

Reviewed by: Douglas from on Jul 25 2007 Not impressive for the price The room I stayed in (on the 19th floor) had next-to-zero air conditioning. Hotel staff took a look at it and claimed nothing wrong. But it was obvious since the windows are covered with vapor which is a sign for humidity.
Reviewed by: wei-chun from on Mar 04 2006 High quality hotel in Tokyo Stayed here in 2002. Delightful, extermely polite service, (relatively) large rooms, and all you would expect from a high quality metropolitan hotel. Well worth the money and convenient regular shuttles to popular shopping areas and train stations.
Reviewed by: Tony Quan from on Dec 20 2005 Exceptional A wonderful hotel with great amenities. Location is close to the subway. Shinjuku station only minutes away. $20 to use the pool was the only thing I thought was a little ridiculous.
