Best time ever!!!!
I just returned from Acapulco and I had the best time ever. Everything about this hotel i loved. I was there with my boyfriend and we had an amazing time. The view from our room was ok..but once we stepped out of our room it was beautiful. I loved the fact it had a private beach and the pools were great, not too crowded. Great food, drinks, staff, and most importantly it was very safe. The cleaniness of the room was excellent. I did not like that it was a little far from the main attractions but we managed to get around. I recommend this hotel to everyone!!!

I Enjoyed My Stay
My wife and I travelled from Boston. Airfare and the 1 week all-inclusive were 1200 U.S. each. The hotel was very clean. The food did get repetitive but we went out to some great restauraunts. The bars only had Corona for beer, which did not bother me as I do not drink beer. I was able to get Pina Coladas, Bananna and Strawberry Daquris as well as quite a few other drinks. I took 2000 U.S. to spend and came back with 1200. Before you get in a cab ask how much. It always cost us 50 pesos or 5 bucks. Most shops, taxis and restauraunts were 10/1 peso/dollar. If you shop around you can get 10.25-10.50/1 peso/dollar. I took 50 $1 bills for tips and should have taken 100. Yes, tips are included in the all-inclusive but I like to tip. $1 a day for the bartenders and waitstaff and 2 a day for houskeeping. The private beach is nice as when we went to some oublic beaches we were bothered by peddlers selling everything under the sun. Royal resorts recently purchased this hotel and they have timeshare salespeople all over. I told them first day I was not interested and they left me alone. They were very helpfull with getting tickets to anything you wanted, although you save 5-25 dollars doing it yourself. We went to the Sunday night bullfight (be warned, things go bad for the bulls, my wife and her girlfreind left immediately) I really was nervous going down, reading all the negative reports but I was very pleasently surprised and would recommend it to anybody. Very rude and unaccommodating
The front desk staff/ housekeeping if you have to call them are very rude. Most of the staff do not speak very good english, which is hard if you know little spaish. The room were average we had a nice view the food was okay but became repeatative after a couple of days. Although we did not become sick, we met a few people that said they did which is only hearsay. There is nothing to after about 6:00-6:30 pm. The pool bar and restaurant as well the snack place are all closed by then. There is no night entertainment, other than some karoke which is over by 11:00pm. There is o shuttle to the downtown area which is bustling all night long. You can even find restaurants that are open all night. This requires a taxi. This will cost you approx. 7-8 U.S. dollars one way. On the return you may be able to get a ride back for $5.00 U.S. The hotel is not bad there room for improvement starting with the front desk. WILL NOT EVER RETURN.

Great Getaway
All inclusive is a great value. My husband and I just wanted to go some where and relax and this was perfect. Great margaritas, pina coladas, and strawberry daquiris, Corona. Three meals a day plus "snacks" which are hamburgers, pizza and nachos. Just be aware that things taste different than here in the U.S. You do lose the sun early though because the hotel is situated on a cliff. Brin bottled water (or but some at the WalMart downtown) Talk to the taxi drivers they are a great source of info. Staff was great, rooms clean, pool clean, beach clean, great family environment. We are planning to go back with our daughter!

Loved it, have a trip planned back there for this year.
We thouroughly enjoyed our visit to Park Royal. The atmosphere is nice and quiet. Love the fact that there are two pools, and they are not too busy. We stayed there last February and are going back this year.

We loved it!
We enjoyed our stay at Park Royal. We already started to make plans to go back next year. We bought more time so we can get one of the new suites to accomodate more members of our family.

Had the best time
Okay, first off the hotels location was the only thing that was bad about the stay. It is located about 4 miles or so away from the main areas. You need to take the taxi every time you want to go down town for dinner or clubs, or other beaches.

Wanted to Stay Longer!
We just got back from Acapulco and thought our hotel was wonderful!! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was perfectly air conditioned. The food is ok and there is enough variety for at least five days. We would recommend this hotel.
