fun but staff-guided activities are lacking
With 3 floors of exhibits, there is a lot of hands on things for the kids to do. This museum also offers staff-guided activities like a Science Fetch demonstration, which can be really great when the workers are on the ball, but often they are late or forget about the activity altogether, and sometimes they repeat the activity a couple weeks later rather than come up with something new. being late seems to be a common problem, they do the same thing at the New Braunfels Children Museum, which is quite annoying since their brochures really play these things up a lot.

Kids will love this! & Parents too.
Went there the summer of 2007 as something to do for our then 6 year old daughter. She LOVED it! She had been patient with us during our trip down the River Walk so we wanted to find something special for her to do. Luckily we had waited till the end of our trip and didn't have more plans, as our daughter didn't want to leave.

A Great Place
This is a terrific childrens museum!! We wondered around for hours and still left feeling like we missed something. We took our 5 year old and 1 year old and both had a blast. If you are looking at tiring them out for the afternoon, get them on the 'elevator' lol. We went during the week and it wasn't crowded at all.
