This museum is a memorial to the life of the late Felisa Rincón de Gautier, who served as the first female mayor of San Juan, from 1946 to 1968. The museum is located in Doña Felisa's former home, where one can view photographs, her honorary degrees and awards and a collection of keys to cities, worldwide. Here, you will also find samples of her extensive wardrobe, outrageous wigs and elegant accessories. Known as Doña Fela, this beloved lady impacted Puerto Rican history by her dedication and efforts to improve the lives of the local people.
