Reviewed by: Mike from on Feb 07 2009 John Gotti's favorite The selection is great. The prices are great. The service is great. But what is really interesting about the Wine Bank is the new owner Pauly. Pauly also has a store in Bloomfield Hills Michigan. The store in Michigan is where Pauly became frieds with the now deceased reputed New York mob boss John Gotti. Pauly shipped wine every week to New York during Gotti's run as the head of the Gambino Crime Family. Once Gotti was sentenced to life in Federal Prison in Marian Illinois, somehow Pauly was still able to ship a bottle here and there right to the prison. Its all really interesting and Pauly is happy to share this story and many more when in the Wine Bank.
