Avanti Salon in the Back Bay area is famous for transforming simple workaholic-type women into glamorous eye-catchers. Hair color, manicures, pedicures, micro-dermabrasions, facials and all that jazz has women flocking to 11, Newbury Street despite insufficient parking. White walls and white light with rectangular mirrors gives a spacious look to the place. Upscale and Friendly Salon
I have been coming to Avanti Salon for two years now, and the salon has not ceased to impress me. All of the stylists make you feel relaxed and offer you a smile. My personal favorite is the sassy Argentenian Janita. I feel like she is not only my stylist, but my friend and at times therapist, when she is doing my hair. The owner Alex Iacobacci has received numerous awards for his color and so has the bautiful salon located next to the Ritz Carlton Hotel.

Why? / Why Not?
Because few salons are upscale without without making you fell uptight. I feel like everyone at Avanti: the staff and clients make up this warm environment to get your hair done in. Not too mention the actual salon is beautiful.
