Since 1998, this bar has been hopping in the space of St. Louis' old Playboy Club. It features a downstairs dance floor as well as an upstairs one that offers a view of the crowd below. The dance floors are not large but are spacious enough to offer a good time. The lounge areas are great for relaxing and sipping on a beer or cocktail. Kearbey's is also one of the few places of its type in the area that accepts travelers cheques. It is a popular hangout and party spot for the college crowd, and due to the large crowds, it is best to get here early. Parking space is scarce as well, although this fact does not keep the people from coming back! Wednesday is college night; guests must be 18 to get in and 21 to drink.
