A vacation to remember....
It's a quaint, romantic little park with little paths and many benches to sit, relax and feed the pigeons(palomas). As you enter the park, there's kiosk where this friendly Puerto Rican couple sell a variety of things and among them they sell small bags of cracked corn to feed these pigeons - They're the healthiest and biggest ones I've ever seen and it's no wonder! They're fed all day long by tourists!! I had a lovely time. I would recommend it to everyone!

Always a Stop
Every time we cruise and stop in San Juan we make this stop. Histoplasmosis...who cares!!! We walk through Old San Juan stopping at little bars along the way to have a drink or 2 at each and stop to visit the pidgeons before heading back to the ship!

Careful with the kids.
I went to the park when I was younger and thought seeing the palomas was great. I loved being able to feed them and there were hundreds. There's always a couple of dead ones lying around, so it's best to watch for those before your kids find them first.

Fun for Kids and Adults
We visited in February '07 to kill time before our flight home. Although we had a little trouble finding it - it was so worth it! Buy a bag of feed for a dollar or two and have fun!

Do this!!
This was great! You can buy a bag of crushed corn from one of the street people on the benches and the birds will eat from your hand and land all over your arms, shoulders, etc. The kids loved it. The birds were gentle. A must do!!

It was awesome!
It was great because its a one of a kind experience and its very economical. A wonderful experience for the kids too. Just try to watch out for the pigeon poop, there's tons of birds and sometimes you don't even see it coming! But it is very fun for people of all ages.

The park of "rats with wings:
I hate pidgeons...I find them gross. But my husband LOVED this park. He found it hilarious! There were vendors to buy the food from, and you dont even need to throw it. The pidgeons will land on you and even eat out of your hand!

A sight to see!
I go to this place almost every day while I am visiting in Puerto Rico. Its awsesome. Feeding the birds is a great way to relieve stress....if you don't mind birds all over your body! The birds are harmless but because they know you have a bag of feed, they want to be the first birds to get the food that you pull out of the bag and they will land anywhere there is a perch! Go and have fun!
