Cafe Berlin is one of my favorite places when I go to puerto rico, but last time I went I notice something different, all was so shinning, clean and elegant. I was very suprise with the new staff, very polite, happy and very fast service... they have new alternatives on the menu like puerto rican dishes and still have the vegetarian options. Even better place to visit!

Aside from the stinking, unclean restrooms and that the menu has no food remotely related to German or Berlin, it's a rare island of rudeness, slow service even with only half the tables occupied and an attitude that questions why the place is still in business. Try to avoid this trap.

In our trip to puerto rico this year on august my fiance and I were looking for some quite romantic spot to eat and take a rest after visiting el morro. We found this cozy and unique restaurant calls cafe Berlin in old san juan. Their menu have a fusion between international, puerto rican, german, creative cusine, also they have a creative vegetarian menu. People in there like all puertoricans are so wonderfull. When we paid the ticket the waiter bring us fresh toasted almonds frosted with chocolate for free, imagine that, free!!! They mentioned something about some restaurant renovations this year, so I have to come soon to see your new place. Good luck my friends! Regards, Susan Smith

Every time that I travel to puerto rico to visit my family I have go to this place. OMG!!! the food is incredible, I always try something different. For me, this place have magic, the terrace is so beautiful and have an incredible view and the waiter staff are very friendly. See you soon!!!!!!

Imagine going to a restaurant, which is supposed to be a fine one, and you find a cockroach in your saladÂ…Â…. and the attitude of the people working there is even worse than that.
