This modest, moderately priced Lemmon Avenue Indian restaurant is a favorite lunch place for downtowner's. Taj Express serves an excellent all-you-can-eat buffet. One of the house specialties is the Chicken and cauliflower in an ultra-spicy curry sauce. Chicken Vindaloo is also an excellent choice. Appetizers include Fried Spinach dredged in lentil flour and Samosas (pastries with spiced potatoes and peas). You will also find cut fruits and vegetables, along with rice pudding with cardamom and almonds on the buffet.
