A Cornucopia of Local Artists
This is a very popular annual event that features more than 85 booths displaying original works by local artisans and craftspeople. More than 400 artisans from around the island meet at Plaza de la Dársena and Paseo de la Princesa in Old San Juan, where visitors can find three days of everything Puerto Rican, including live folk music, a troubadour contest (traditional country singer), exciting dance music and regional foods of the island. It's a terrific shopping venue for enthusiasts of pottery, paintings, clothing and jewelery. The fair also features booths promoting sightseeing tours, the history of Puerto Rico, local cuisine and attractions. Admission is free.
