Riordan's Tavern was created by former mayor of Los Angeles, Richard Riordan and the love he put into the place is evident. Hunter-green booths and chairs, dark polished wood, a pressed tin ceiling and low lighting give the impression of an old-fashioned gentlemen's club. Expect basic pub and steakhouse fare that's not necessarily creative but executed well none the less. Try something from the carving station or quench your thirst with the Guinness on tap. Prices are standard for downtown Los Angeles. Paid lot and street parking available. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
