The location may be slightly hidden, but the food at Tamarind is well worth the search. The exterior is very unassuming, but inside, an Oriental elegance pervades the small dining room, attended by a wait staff noted for its friendliness and skills of explanation. If presentation is everything, Tamarind has elevated it to an art. The normal curries and such are great here, but it's the interesting combination dishes (particularly among the appetizers) that make this modern Thai house unique. Full bar service available.
