Both the cantina and the restaurant are great We tried both the cantina and the main restaurant while we were in Sydney, and both were excellent! The menus had plenty of interesting options. The food was a bit slow to arrive at the cantina, but the opposite was true at the restaurant. We arrived just before closing at the restaurant, but the staff was very friendly and the service was great. This is definitely the best Thai food I've had anywhere. Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes
Why? / Why Not? Delicious.
Best Thai in Sydney A bit of Aussie history - the location was once a sailor's home - with the best Thai in NSW. I've sent friends from different parts of the globe and eveyone concurs. Enjoy!

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 07 2006 Ouch That was good! We visited Sailors Thai late on a friday evening wereupon we breezed in and were rapidly seated by friendly and efficent staff. After a short wait we received our drink and set about perusing the menu, the first thing I noticed was the distinct lack of pad Thai and well most of the staple dishes we are used to in London. However fear not as all the dishes are superb if not a little adventurous at times but beatuifully presented and served. My only complaint was that as a filthy smoker I had to step outside to smoke but you know what when you are in the rocks in sydney with a view to die for maybe you should go for more cigarettes! Over all a superb meal can't wait for a repeat.
