Masao Koga (1904-1978) was a popular composer known for creating melodies that mixed Western music with traditional Japanese music. Koga was the head of the Japanese Society of Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers from 1964 to 1978. An overview of his life, some of his original music, a selection of musical instruments and personal memorabilia are on view here. Attractive gardens add further to the appeal of this intimate museum. Admission: JPY525.
