This is Vienna’s oldest church, dating back to the 11th century and named after St. Ruprecht who was the patron saint of Vienna’s salt merchants. This Roman Catholic Church houses spectacular stained glass windows made in the early 1300s, while other decorative and architectural renovations were added in the 15th century. Located in Vienna’s "Bermuda Triangle", the home of a multitude of bars and discotheques in Vienna’s Jewish District, times have certainly changed since this church was built and salt was the precious commodity!Advt.: Summer Cruise Sale at VacationsToGo.com – Save Up To 75% Now!
