A Very Good Evening
We were shown out table straight away. The service was very good and the food first rate. The staff were helpful and as attentive as they could be given how busy it was. This was during Cork University's Conferring Week and it was very busy. My son changed the time of our booking two days before and we were not kept waiting at all. We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening out.

Why? / Why Not?
It was a busy restaurant with a good atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and good sized, tasty and well cooked food. I eat out a couple of times a month on average and, were it in my home town, I would eat there regularly.

Avoid At all Costs
Having being recommended this restaurant by the girl behind reception in our hotel and having her book a table for 8.00 we arrived at the restaurant at the reserved time. myself and my boyfriend stood in the doorway along with five other couples waiting to be seated. We waited for half and hour while the arrogant manager (i think) made no apologies as we were constantly pushed by the waiters and waitresses served the tables. After a 40 minute wait for a table, we decided to leave.

Is this the worst place to eat in Cork
Mussels to start were fantastic so we expected great things from our meals of Lasagne and cannelloni. But when they arrived I knew all was not well.. Both pastas were translucent and sitting in congealed white sauce which was stuck to the plate and burnt around the edges. We returned both mains and ordered pizza.. How can you get pizza wrong? It arrived and the crust came away from the centre and it fell apart. Only the outer crust was cooked, the rest of the pizza was not and yet again our main course was inedible.

Why? / Why Not?
Possibly the worst dinig experice I have ever had
