After visting the magnificient Colloseum, visting Roman Forum was a bit of disappointment. The ruins do not describe much of the history behind it and seem very ordinary. A lot of forts and palaces in India would score much higher.

Roman Forum is one of the best things to see in Rome, especially if you know the history and appreciate it!

I have to say that at first the Foro Romano was more of a disappointement to me. You've heard about it so much and in the end what do you see? A bunch of stones in no particular order. But my mistake was that I went there on my own, without a guide or a book that could explain to me the structure of the place.

The Roman Forum was amazing. rome was a world power and to see it in ruins now is amazing. Only way to see any attractions is by guided tours. There is a lot of ruined buildings, only a guided tour can let you know what they are. Hope you love to walk.

This was one of the most amazing places that i have ever been too. The only thing was that there was so much, and we didnt know what it was! I highly sugest to get a tour guide or a tourist booklet, so that you know what your looking at. Otherwise its no where near as interesting!

This place looked really neat at night! Rome at night with the lights around the ruins is great. I really enjoyed all of Rome. It feels wonderful walking around at night too. When it is so hot during the summer.

I loved this place so much, it was so unique and unsettling to see such ancient beauty. I went to Rome on a Contiki trip and we got a tour of all of the ruins, it was so amazing. I actually walked by the place where Julius Ceasar was burned! I cant wait to go back.

To think that the Ceasars of Rome walked where I walked. It is mind-boggling and awesome. So much history, so much culture every where you turn. Magnificent.
