The Fowler Museum at UCLA is one of the leading cultural artifact collections in the world. The collection features more than 750,000 items from modern day to prehistoric eras. Focusing on the visual arts, the majority of the artifacts hail from Africa, Asia, Oceania, Native and Latin America. The museum hosts a number of exhibitions each year, on such diverse topics as textiles from the Southern Philippines and the lowrider bicycle, uncovering elements of culture often long forgotten.

More than 200 pieces of art by famous Mexican silversmith Antonio Pineda are being showcased at the Fowler Museum. Daughters of India: Photographs by Stephen P. Huyler

This exhibition is a celebration of these strong-willed women and their incredible talents.

Splash! A Celebration of Mermaids and the Sea
