Step into the imposing Beaux Arts style Cleveland Public Library and you enter a world of knowledge. Exquisite marble staircases, murals and decorated ceilings adorn the library, which now boasts a new wing. The library's special collections include the John G. White Collection of Folklore, Children's Literature and the Cleveland Author collection. To find used books, gifts and toys, stop by the gift shop on the first floor of the Louis Stokes Wing. It is run by the Friends of the Library who also conduct library tours, and sponsor book sales and programs.
