Just across the street from the rash of chain cafes and bars in Didsbury Village, you will find something different: a quirky little independent bistro set in a charming cottage. Over the years, it has changed ownership many times, but this latest incarnation has retained a comfortable and intimate atmosphere with a high standard of cooking and a loyal, ever-expanding clientèle. The menu, which includes a selection of salads, pastas, ciabattas and platters, is supplemented by daily blackboard specials such as fillet steak with a whiskey sauce and oriental steamed sea bass. There is a reasonable wine list and a good selection of draft beers.
