This museum opened half a century ago in the Wallmoden Castle situated in the Georgian Gardens. The museum exhibits a stunning array of pictures and drawings by Wilhelm Busch, one of Germany's greatest cartoonists and creator of the legendary comic figures Max and Moritz. The museum was extended in the 1980s and now contains five centuries worth of caricatures and graphics by a host of German and international artists such as Heinrich Zille. It is one of the best museums of its kind. Admission: EUR 4.50; concessions EUR 2.50.
