The Reefs did not live up to its reputation. The service was very slow in all of the restaurants and the food was only okay. The beach was not cleaned/raked during our stay. Our room was not small for the price and the bathroom needed renovating. Also keep in mind that it's a $20+ cab ride to Hamilton. We had heard it was a good place for couples but there were a lot of families and kids. It sadly did not match up to the reviews we have read, and we will be trying a different resort the next time we return to Bermuda.

Small, personal and beautiful. Order breakfast delivered to your balcony. Wake up and see the ocean without getting out of bed. Great beach, excellent restaurants. We were sent there on personal recommendation (from a friend who writes for travel magasines) and it seems so was everyone else or they were repeat customers.

Staff superior...the location right on the water...rooms always clean and large with great ammenities...and the food has always been the best of a vacation spot...would not go to another hotel on the island!

My husband and I have been to a few other places over the years on our visits to Bermuda. First off, there's not a bad place on Bermuda, but the Reefs is above them all. It's small, refined, friendly, and has the BEST private beach on the whole island. The rooms have a perfect view of the incrediblely blue waters of Bermuda. The terrace dining is terrific.

Beautiful landscaped area. The entertainment was good to excellent every night. The food is outstanding, among the best on the island!

As a resident of Bermuda I visit the 'Coconuts' restaurant at the Reefs hotel regularily and am always delighted by their courteous service, perfect romantic ambiance and island cuisine. I would recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect romantic dinner on one of the best beaches in the world.

The Reefs was a great choice for our vacation. Its a small hotel that offer all the facilities of a much bigger resort. The beach is incredible and the snirkeling and kayaking were great. The room had a fabulous ocean view and was very comfortable. We used the spa for massages that were very relaxing. The dining was the best part. Grill 56 offered an extensive menu selection that was very well prepared and presented and Coconuts the beach side restaurant was sooo romantic. Wewere there on our honeymoon and had dinner on the sand which I will never forget. We really recommend The Reefs and will celebrate our anniversaries there in the future. We can't wait to go back.
