Cadiz's Carnival is perhaps the most famous in the world - outside of Brazil. In Cadiz, the party is known for its elaborate costumes, most of which are topical and politically charged. No other carnival celebration is filled with such artistry, wit and wisdom. The month of February (sometimes March) therefore becomes a time of intellectually flavored fun and merriment, that draws to a close with the final parade of costumes.
