Back to Hilton San Antonio Airport What a hassle! Do not stay on the "preferred floors". You need to scan your key in the elevator to get access and the scanners do not work. Dirty, outdated rooms. Slow service. Overall, stay clear of this place. Staff treats you like a criminal...high security which tells me they have had issues

Reviewed by: Dawn from on Jul 07 2008 comfy/clean We enjoyed our stay at this hotel except when we arrived we found out our room only had one full bed for 4 people and since we went through Priceline that was the best they could do. They did remedy this by ordering a full size rollaway. Thank goodness it wasn't the crappy bar in the back kind or we were going to have a problem. The rest of our week stay was great and our room was comfy and clean.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 20 2007 Best place ever! I absolutely loved staying at the Hilton because it was so clean, it had great service, the people were nice, the decorations kept you entertained, the pool was huge, and I love a place where I can just relax and have a good time. If there was one hotel I'd want to stay at again, it'd be this one.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 01 2007 Working to Get Better I stay at this hotel regularly and the service is great! The staff are friendly and really go out of there way to help. The lobby looks great, the fitness center actually has free weights and the beds are fantastic!! On the downside, the hotel restaurant is mediocre, the rooms are a bit smaller than expected and older, the toiletries are too scented for men. They are also the only hotel on the North side to charge for parking. They are going through a lot of renovations to try to improve so right now is one of those in-between times.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 20 2006 So much better To the people who wrote the last review, this hotel is going through a lot of renovations and is greatly improving with each one. Also, please do go to the Riverwalk area and try a Full Service hotel and you will be charged for nearly everything. Stick to the limited service and you will be fine.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Feb 15 2006 This place is the PITS! Save your money! My husband and I took a short 5 day stay at this hotel, it was under construction and horribly overpriced, if you stay here expect to pay for every little thing (what a joke paying $4.00 for a bottle of spring water they leave on the table in your room should you choose to drink it!). Plus the hotel was flithy and noisy. It smelled like a musty basement and the sheets and blankets were dirty with holes. I had to clean the bathroom myself to take a shower even. The rooms are very small, the laundry room was very dirty and the wallpaper was coming off the walls in my room. Stay somewhere else and save your money! This place has no free internet, no free local calling, no free continental breakfast, and no free newspaper! Go elsewhere like the riverwalk if you can get it!
