Back to Six Flags Magic Mountain The Most Underrated Park in the Country Six Flags Magic Mountain (as well as great adventure) are Six Flags Savior parks and continue to get better and better every year. This park is huge, there is plenty to do.. The people who post and say its expensive typically are the ones that are staying for just a few hours or so and will not wait for anything and will skip over things if they are temporarily closed. Rides almost always reopen- they have to close them for safety regulations... Now onto the rides.. X2 is in my opinion the best and most unique coaster our planet has to offer (Eejainkai in Japan doesnt count cuz its like a remake) Tatsu and Riddler are incredible record breakers, Deja Vu is sweet... .Goliath, Scream!, Terminator, Collosus, Revolution, Viper, Ninja, Superman, Batman, Goldrusher.... the list seems endless here. yea the 3 main rides have long lines but none of the other rides ever do. Not to mention this park has log jammer- one of the best log flumes and jet scream another awesome flume. The mountain in the middle can be a little annoying but the park is clean and well maintained (ok some of the restrooms could use a tune up) but there is nothing to complain about.... and the park ofers play passes for the same price as the regular admission ticket.. (NOBODY GOES TO THE FRONT GATE WITHOUT A COUPON OR SOMETHING PAYING FULL PRICE SO DONT FREAK OUT WHEN YOU HEAR THAT SOMEONE SAYS ITS 60 dollars or more.... it never is.
Reviewed by: Jimmy from on Sep 14 2009 Never going back We had to wait almost an hour in line in the car to get into the park, and people kept driving down the Valet Only lane and cutting into the regular lane at the last second. We told a guy in the middle of the line collecting money for parking about it and he said there was nothing they could do. One car tried to get in front of us but we didn't let them so they ran into the car in front of us to try make room.

Reviewed by: debbie from on Aug 27 2009 customer service needs improvement Great assortment of rides. The coasters are amazing. We had a great day, but attention is needed in maintenance and customer service. Workers talking to each other while riders wait to be loaded, filthy bathrooms w/no paper towels in dispensers, food vendors out of product by 3:00, nit picky fees ($1 for a locker that they require you to use - per ride!), extremely high prices for games and food ($7 for a slice of pizza!, $4 for a small bottle of water), very few benches for those of us waiting for family on the rides. I'd like to suggest a nominal park fee for grandparents who just want to accompany their group to the park, but don't want to ride ANYTHING. The fun is in seeing the kids enjoy it.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 11 2009 Awsome This park has great thrills of course it not like disneyland but theres a difference
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 02 2009 Awesome coasters! My group of 6 had a great time. Compared to SF over Texas (the original) I thought this one blew it out of the water. The park was clean and looked well maintained. It was crowded but it seemed to start easing up after 5pm (we went on a Monday in July). We purchased a Flash Pass for our group which is expensive but was worth the price to not have to wait in 1+ hour lines. Our 2 favs were Deja Vu and X2.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 29 2009 Awesome Park with lots to offer I had an absolute blast. The rides cannot be beat. They don't just add a bunch of cheap rides like most places. These rides are absolute top of the line, and there are tons of them. Sure rides breakdown, but that happens at every park. We had no problems when we were there. X2 was closed in the evening, but we were able to ride it twice in the morning. It is by far the cleanest six flags park there is. There are a few bad apple employees, but a vast majority were very friendly and helpful. I spoke with some of the upper management while I was there and they genuinely cared, and actually did something about it. They said there biggest frustration is that people don't complain to guest services. They said that within 10 minutes of a complaint coming in, it is taken care of. I'm looking forward to going back there very soon. Great park, and great rides!!
Reviewed by: Joey from on Mar 25 2009 Skip this Park if you want a fun vacation I just recently took my three young children_two boy twins age 4and a girl who is 7. I have always been going to DisneyLand since I was2 , and always bring my children. I had heard mixed reviews about Six Flags, so I decided to try it out. The park was okay. The workers were rude, the park was filthy, and most of the children rides broke down. We only stayed for about 3 hours, and definitley not worth the money at all. So if you are looking for a nice theme park, go to DisneyLand or Knotts!
