Ever since it opened in 1993, this has been the most authentic and popular Latin club in town. You can dance to salsa, merengue, cha-cha-cha, flamenco and Spanish pop music. The decor is a mix of the typically Caribbean with unusual innovative touches produced by artist Nacho Moscardo, One of the walls is made out of huge bamboo stalks, one of the bars is an aquarium and there are two other large aquariums separating the bathrooms and the main room. The clientele is made up of local professionals, foreign students and trade fair visitors mostly, aged between 30 and 50. Get there early on weekends before it's too packed and dress smartly. The delicious mojitos are justifiably famous and the bar offers 40 types of rum to take straight or mix with whatever you like.
